💰 100 VC-backable Climate Technologies
35 impact investors reveal which technologies they want you to pitch them
Despite the hurdles of scaling and commercializing ClimateTech, time and again startups continue to make fundraising headlines.
And as the long-term value and potential returns of impact solutions become clearer, the influx of pure-play, specialist as well as generalist funds backing ClimateTechs is rising.
Almost every week another Climate Fund is announced.
Take last week for example:
Virescent Ventures secured $100 million at the first close of its second Climate Tech fund
Diagram launched its Diagram Climate Tech Fund, raising $80 million CAD
PSV Hafnium a new DeepTech Danish fund announced the first close of DKK 385 million (≈ €48M) with backing from the EIFO and EIF.
But if we’re going to get anywhere close to the current $2 trillion financing gap for ClimateTech, investments need to be deployed much bigger and faster.
And as ClimateTech spans many different verticals and sub-verticals, it can be a minefield for startups to identify the investors who share their vision.
So Founders, we’ve done the homework for you. Here at Hack, we’ve spoken to 35 impact investors to hear which technologies they’re looking to back next. Spoiler alert, they told us 100+. Scroll on to see if you have the solution.
