What: Big Blue Technologies is scaling an automated and continuous way to produce magnesium. Their magnesium technology journey began at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 0. Since then, we’ve tested nearly every chemistry, built over 10 major reactor and condenser systems, and scaled 10,000 times to TRL 6.
Today: They operate a pilot facility near Cheyenne, Wyoming, the only operating primary production plant in North America with a capacity over 1 kg/hr.
