Following its successful debut in the US just last month, we’re excited to announce the return of the HackSummit to Lausanne, Switzerland on 15-16th May.

Now in its 6th edition, the HackSummit puts Climate Deep Tech in the spotlight to inspire radical new ways of thinking, celebrate bold entrepreneurship and showcase mind-bending science.

Here’s why…  

Giga-scale decarbonisation is on the rise. The next industrial revolution is reshaping entire industries and laying the groundwork for a more circular and regenerative future.

And the momentum (and funding behind it) is building:

• De-extinction startup Colossal Biosciences closed $200 million to bring back woolly mammoths.

• Clean energy platform Palmetto announced it raised $1.2 billion in 2024 to support residential clean energy financing.

• Seed gene-editing startup Inari raised $144 million to advance its AI-powered SEEDesign platform for editing plant DNA to boost crops.

• Marine robotics startup Xocean secured €115 million to expand its uncrewed surface vessel operations to provide ocean data.

Without science, and more specifically the scientists behind climate innovation, a sustainable and regenerative future is out of reach. So what better way to shake up the status quo than by bringing together 850 Climate Mavericks to Lausanne?
